Fairhope Family Photographer | Guest Photography

Last year while visiting my sister-in-law, a Fairhope family photographer, I was a guest photographer on a shoot she had scheduled for a family with 5 kids!  Going into the session our game plan was to have me photograph the three girls, and she would take on the parents and the two boys..and we worked as a team to get all 7 of them (and their dog) photographed!

I feel so lucky that I got to meet this beautiful family.  Folks in Fairhope are just, well, so nice! And all three girls were a delight to talk to and photograph.

Add in that the family has a gorgeous home, and a beautiful yard and I was definitely happy to be helping out during this session.

It was interesting to see a family with such a wide range of ages...I think the youngest was around 3 years old...and the oldest in her early 20's.  They all seemed to get along so well and there was so much energy around them.

I plan to do more guest shoots in Fairhope this year. I was had a shoot in Fairhope with my niece in downtown Fairhope during that same trip: Fairhope Portrait Photograher | Growing Up Fast...

A chilly morning...

This little guy and his gorgeous parents braved the chilly Houston air this morning to come down to the loft for our portrait session.  Such a sweet boy...sorry for for the chilly morning.  At least I was able to make him a hot chocolate at the loft after our session to help him warm up!

More Market Street Girls

Earlier this week our associate photographer, Jennifer, had a shoot up at Market Street in The Woodlands.  Mom came totally prepared for this session with three coordinating outfits for each girl and some props like a giant lollipop and candy cane.  I'm feeling more festive just looking at these pictures.

Party of 3 - Boys!

Our Associate Photographer, Valerie, finished off the month of October with this treat on Halloween morning...a family with three boys!!!

IMG_2455-Edit
Starting with the two older boys!  LOOK at that height difference.  I love it. (a little texture added to give this one a vintage feel).

IMG_2473-Edit
Add in a baby brother and this mom will have her hands full for years to come keeping up with these three!

And one more...the middle boy because the middle child always seems to get lost in the shuffle!  Look at the sparkle in his eyes!

The Tree Farm

This morning I met up with this great family at the Old Time Christmas Tree farm for their family holiday portraits.  Mom has been going to the tree farm for 15 years to choose her family Christmas tree and I can see why. It looked like a lot of fun.  Right now they have a pumpkin patch open if you are looking for a weekend activity and the tree farm opens back up Thanksgiving weekend!  I'm adding this to my list of places to try (we've been to a bunch of tree farms).

Because I don't know which family picture they will want to use for their holiday cards I'm sticking to a couple of individuals.  And my computer is cranky and not showing me color correctly so hopefully these look okay.  I need to recalibrate on Monday!

Running through the trees as any 4 year old will do!

So so so many great pictures of this guy.  He was excellent for his photos!

I love this little one's dark eyes!  We did some Woodland Fairy pictures a couple of weeks ago and it was fun to see her again!

Lots of family activities planned for the rest of the weekend so I'm taking the rest of the weekend off.  See you next week!

Boys, Boys, Boys

Yesterday I had a super nice family come in with their three boys.  Yep, they have their hands full with that crowd.  I'm not going to show any family pictures because I don't know what they want to use for holiday cards but instead will just show an individual of each boy!  Love their striped shirts!

IMG_5422-Edit

I love his big bright eyes.  Kids around that 18 month old mark have those great giant eyes!

This little guy cracked me up - he wanted to make sure I got plenty of photos of him!

One, two, three, hike!  Is that right?  Gah, my boy hasn't started sports yet.  This little guy kept getting down into this football pose so I just worked with it.  Ha!

Urban Girls in Tutus

I photographed these girls two years ago and boy have they changed.

Here they are two years ago in their red dresses:

And here they are now!

IMG_5040-Edit

They changed into tutus and luckily they had their jean jackets too because it was actually a little chilly!  What a difference these girls are wearing the same tutus as the girls in the previous post but with a COMPLETELY different feel to their pictures.

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to follow along as these kids grow up!  What fun!

Girls in Tutus

Saturday I had to totally different sessions that each included some of the tutus that we have in our inventory now.

The evening session was with these two sisters that I've been photographing for three years!  Every year I do their Christmas card pictures and I photographed the little one earlier in the week for her three year portraits.  This was a session for their holiday cards this year....I saved some AWESOME shots for mom's eyes only as I think she'll want to use them for her cards this year but here are some fun ones!

IMG_5227-Edit

I loved them twirling and dancing together!

At three years old she displays a lot of grace and beauty!  And a very sweet personality!

IMG_5285-Edit

Big sister proudly told me how busy she has been keeping the tooth fairy.  She has lost 6 teeth recently!  Wowsa!  I always like to include portraits with a more serious feel or a tranquil moment in my sessions!

Woodland Fairy Sessions | Sneak Peek

Our mini portrait sessions yesterday in The Woodlands were a BIG hit.  Thank you to Baby Cha Cha for again making the little girls look like princesses and fairies. Absolutely beautiful.  And thank you to the Market Street folks that were gracious and allowed us to move from our previously contracted spot to keep dry!    While it rained right up until about 7am, we were thrilled that it didn't rain during our actual sessions!!!
